eAeon is the vocalist of Mot, a Korean indie rock band. To me, Mot’s music is very dark, melancholy, but still extremely fascinating. They debuted in 2004, and I remember (though I was still too young to properly understand and feel their music) that I was so emotionally overwhelmed that I even wondered whether it’s okay to fill one album with such infinite sadness. I particularly liked (and still like) 날개 (Wings; written by eAeon) from their first album. eAeon also has released solo works, including bulletproof and an acoustic version of Mot’s 자랑 (Proudly; written by eAeon). eAeon has been a close friend of RM, supporting RM through his tough times.
